Frank Larry Coltrane, 72, of Hwy 49 N., Liberty, died Sunday, October 12, 2014 at his residence.

Graveside Services, 3:00 PM, Thursday, October 16, 2014, at Whites Chapel United Methodist Church, Liberty.

Officiating, Mr. Robert Bender, Rev. Rodney Otwell.

He was a native of Randolph County, a retired truck driver with Maola Milk & Ice Cream, and member of Whites Chapel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Duncan Coltrane, parents, Frank and Naomi Brady Coltrane, and sister, Gertrude Hillard.

Survivors: daughter, Lawanda Coltrane and husband, Robert Bender, of Liberty, sister, Thelma Williams, and husband, Ken, of Greensboro, brothers, Joe Coltrane, and wife, Rita, of Snow Camp, Leon Coltrane, and wife, Brenda, of Greensboro, brother-in-law, Harold Hillard, of Greensboro, several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his Fur Babies, Tippy, Harley, Ryder, Spook, Bella, Waylon, and Willie. He was preceded in death by two of his Fur Babies, Shadow, and Snow Ball.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to Hospice of Randolph County and to Eugene & Helen Langley and the Duncan Family, and especially to Billy Crash Craddock for his visit on Thursday, October 9, 2014.

There will be no visitation.
