Patsy Jane Baldwin, 86, Heath, Texas (formerly of Excelsior Springs, Mo.), died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at Senior Care of Lake Point.
Patsy was born Jan. 11, 1926, in Ionia, Mo. She was a longstanding member of the Community of Christ Church in Excelsior Springs and Texas. She owned and operated the A&W Root Beer Restaurant in Excelsior Springs for 20 years. She loved to read, paint and travel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Baldwin.
Survivors include her sister, Marie Hughes, of California; her children, Carolyn Watson, Pam Oliphant, Mike Baldwin, Steve Baldwin, Chris Baldwin, Craig Baldwin and Carrie Mienhausen; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Community of Christ Church in Excelsior Springs.
