Oliver's gravestone states that he died on March 29, 1949, and this appears to be incorrect. His obituary, shown below, states that Oliver died on Monday, which would have been March 28. The Ottumwa Cemetery's records also show that he died on March 28. I checked Oliver's official death record at the Wapello County Court House, and it also states that he died on March 28. Update of October 31, 2023: Oliver's death certificate may now be seen in ancestry.com.
