Edwin J: Wagner, 87, of 413 Pearl Lane, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 1999, at St. Agnes Hospital.

He was born April 17, 1911, in Malone, a son of Joseph and Matilda Stephany Wagner. On Sept. 13, 1938, he married Dorothy O. Koenen at Holy Cross Church, Mount Calvary.

Mr. Wagner worked at Hart Carter & Tecumseh Products for 35 years, retiring in 1976. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church, St. Anthony's Society, of which was president for 20 years, and Knights of Columbus, and was a retired member of Mount Calvary Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife, seven daughters, one son, 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, two brothers, and one sister-in-law. (Survivors names withheld per findagrave guidelines)

Preceding him in death were two sons, Edwin and John Wagner; and his parents.

Services: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church. The Rev. Eugene Neuman will officiate. Burial will be at St. John the Baptist Parish Cemetery, Johnsburg.

Visitation: From 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, and from 10 a.m. to the hour of services Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Hope.
