Patsy Fay Ashton Foote, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her husband and sons, on October 9, 2014, at age 74, after a valiant battle against breast cancer.

She was born on April 7, 1940, in Provo, Utah, to Clarence and Anna Spotten Ashton.

Pat was a dedicated wife to her husband, Glen, for over 54 years. She was a wonderful mother to not only her own children, but to the children of many families. She always had a deep love for family and especially helping little children in any way that she could.

She held several church callings as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a dedicated Primary teacher.

She has left behind her husband, Glen, and two sons: James (Elizabeth) and Robert (Amy); and grandchildren: Nolan, Nathan, Colby, Katie, Jason and Trevor. She is also survived by her brother Donovan (Kathy) Ashton; sister, and Margaret Morrill; as well as former daughter-in-law, Leota Foote. Also countless children with whom she shared her love within her home and at school.

She was preceded in death by two of her children: Rodney and Kristeen; brother, Karl Ashton and sister, Kathy Dodds; and by her parents.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ephraim Stake Center, 400 East Center where friends may call from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. in the old Nephi Cemetery, 400 North 400 East.
