Arden – Dorothy "Pat" Chapman Thompson, 94 of Arden, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Beystone Health and Rehab.
Mrs. Thompson was born in Milton, West Virginia to the late Allen Chapman and Alice McCoy Chapman Morris. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Thompson, Sr.
Pat was a member of Fletcher First Baptist Church and she retired from J.C. Penny.
Surviving are a son, of Arden; a daughter, of Spartanburg, SC; a brother, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at Fletcher First Baptist Church on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Roy Waldroup officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial in Enka.
