Kathy was born April 3, 1951 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Alvin and Caroline Knouse Luhr.
The first part of her life was spent at home in St. Marys.

In 2001, she moved to McGuire Memorial Home in New Brighton where she resided until her death.

Kathy enjoyed working in the greenhouse, swimming, football, social activities, and especially, her baseball hat collection.
Although she was a special needs person, she reminded us of the preciousness of life with her boundless energy.

She is survived by her brother, Franklin “Jack” Luhr of Newtown;
her sister, Mary Luhr of Lake Wales, Fla.; two nephews,
Mark Glass of Farmville, Va. and Michael Glass of Richmond, Va.;
and a niece, Marcia Huffman of Virginia Beach, Va.

In addition to her parents

On a personal note:
My memories of Kathy was helping out in
the Flower Shop and The Greenhouse,and always
playing with her dolls and animals,putting on
her collection of hats on them all.
At Grandma's she loved to play around the piano
and like the rest of us Kids, we loved Our
Grandma's donuts.
She loved The holidays and up to the present time,
her sister Mary would fly To McGuire and decorate her
room for that holiday and her Birthday.
Kathy was a very happy young Lady , She Had Downs
She will surely be missed by her First Cousins here

Photo's will be added soon
