Funeral service for Jewel G. Adams, 88, of Wichita Falls was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, 1998, at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home.
Rev. E. M. Bryant, pastor of Grace Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in Crestview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Adams died Monday, February 16, 1998 in a Wichita Falls nursing home.
She was born November 6, 1909 in Clay County. She and Kenneth Adams married in 1930. He died in 1970. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Baptist Church. She had been a resident of Wichita Falls for 13 years.
Survivors include five sisters, Ruby Reynolds of Tioga, Mazie Jackson of Henrietta, Viola Betts of Adrain, Marie Browning of Wichita Falls and Bernice Slieper of Eufaula, Alabama; and three brothers, James and Luther Gill, both of Wichita Falls, and Doyle Gill of Carrollton.
