Ruby Dryden
Carrollton resident Ruby Elizabeth Dryden, 83, died Tuesday, December 8 at Carroll County Memorial Hospital.
She was a housewife and a member of the Calvary Apostolic Church, Carrollton, 41 years.
She is survived by her husband, James William Dryden, Sr., Carrollton. Also surviving are two sons, William D. Dryden, Warsaw, James W. Dryden Jr., Carrollton; daughters, Norma Jean Dryden Ballard, Ghent, Eva Mae Williamson, Warsaw; sisters, Alma L. Satchwell and Eva Lou Wilson both of Warsaw; brother, Charles Walton "Pete" Miles, Warsaw, 21 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ernest Miles Jr..
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 11, at Calvary Apostolic Church, Carrollton, Rev. Miles Miller officiating minister. Burial was in Ghent Masonic Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons: Ricky Williamson, Curtis Williamson, Terry Dryden, James Ballard, Jerry Ballard, William D. Williamson and Jackie Williamson.
Graham-Dunn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
