Dale L. Hadden, 74, of Crystal River, Fla., passed away Nov. 9, 2013, at Citrus Memorial Hospital. He was born May 17, 1939, in Olean, N.Y., to Fred and Lila (Palmatier) Hadden. Dale moved to Citrus County 17 years ago from Port Allegany Pa. He was a retired maintenance worker for a glass plant and an Army Veteran. After retiring Dale and his wife Joella traveled full time in their pop-up camper for a year and a half, settling in Crystal River 17 years ago. Dale loved travelling, meeting people and life. He was dearly loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his two brothers, Richard and David. Survived by his wife, Joella Hadden of Crystal River; five children, Michael Hadden of Port Allegany, Pa., Adrian Wagner of Erie, Pa., Christopher (Samantha) Wagner of Wellsville, N.Y., Mathew (Menchie) Wagner of Farmington, N.Y., and Bethany Wagner of Bradford, Pa.; six grandchildren; two nephews.
Private cremation will take place under the direction of Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in Lecanto. Family will be receiving friends Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Lecanto. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Prune Belly Syndrome Network P.O. Box 16071 Philadelphia PA 19154.
