Other than his wife, survivors include a son and daughter, Benjamin Colson Bowman, III, of Florida, and Sally Austin, Leawood, Kan.; a step-son and step-daughter, Steve Miller, Tompkinsville, and Sharon Dillard, Bowling Green; three sisters — Pauline Cittadino of New Jersey; Clarice Ford, Gamaliel; and Corinne Reagan, Tompkinsville; eight grandchildren — Benjamin Bowman IV, Kyle and Troy Bowman, all of Melbourne; Aaron Minnes, Chicago, Ill.; Bethany Minnes of Illinois; Daniel Miller, Tompkinsville; Nancy Jenkins, Bowling Green; and Stephanie Keltner, Salem, Ind.; and two great-grandchildren, Jonathan Jenkins and Kassidy Keltner. A sister, Vivian LaMotte, preceded him in death.
Burial was at the Skaggs Creek Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were: John Austin, Jerry Ford, Stanley Reagan, and Daniel, Issac and Steve Miller. Honorary pallbearers were: Lecil McAlpin, George Miller, Boyd Walden, Leslie Carter, Roy Grider and Robert Richardson.
