William E. Kerkendall, 58 years old, died suddenly at 1 o'clock Sunday morning at his home, 132 Bullman Street. Although he had been ill for some time, his death was unexpected. Deceased is survived by a brother, Clarence Kerkendall and a sister, Miss Minnie Kerkendall, of Phillipsburg. He was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church and the Sons of Veterans, of Easton.

Funeral services for William E. Kerkendall were conducted this afternoon at his late home, 132 Bullman Street, by Rev. R. K. Gimson, pastor of ST. Luke's Episcopal Church. Friends of the deceased served as the pallbearers and interment was made in the Easton Cemetery.
