Roy W. Shaal Roy W, Shaal, 81, of 1603 5th St, Juniata, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 1994, at his residence, He was bom July 30, 1913, in Altoona, the son of Robert W. and Florence (Miller) Shaal. He married Pauline D. Carles on May 15, 1933, Mr. Shaal was a member of Wehnwood United Methodist Church. He retired as a welder from Conrail in 1978, after 38 years of service. Mr. Shaal was a member of Mountain Lodge, FltAM, Altoona Consistory, Jaffa Mosque Mountain Commandary, Mountain Council. Mountain Royal Arch Chapter, Altoona Shrine Club and the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Surviving are his wife, a son, William of Altoona; a daughter, Dottie Copetta of Altoona; three sisters: Mary and Martha, both of Altoona, and Elizabeth Bauscher of St. Petersburg, Fla.; five grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata.

SHAAL — Services for Roy W. Shaal of 1603 5th St., Juniata, will be held at ll a.m. Friday at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, by the Rev, Charles Kuhns. Interment at Blair Memorial Park. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jaffa Shrine Crippled Children's Hospital. A sister, Josephine Am merman, died Aug. 13, 1994.
