New Castle - Magdalene B (Walker) McCormick, 74, New Castle, died Jan 9, 1998, at Henry County Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
She retired in 1986 from the new Castle Community School Corp after 10 years of employment.
Survivors include a daughter, Sue (husband George) Wilson, four sons, Frank (wife Becky) McCormick, Robert (wife, Sherry) McCormick, Jerry (wife, Carolyn) McCormick and Keith (wife Margie) McCormick, a sister, Geneva Prince, a brother, Charlie (wife Mary) Walker, 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2pm Monday at Immanuel Baptist Church, Indiana 38 East with the Rev Rod Harmon officiating. Burial will be in Green Hills Memory Cemetery, New Castle.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Sunday at Macer-Hall Funereal Home and one hour before services Monday at the church.
