Richard Gaylon Robertson, 71, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Saturday, August 2, 2014 at his home. Mr. Robertson was born September 18, 1942 in Gorman, Texas.

He was a retired Fire Marshal at Kirkland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, New Mexico, a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Robertson of Texarkana, Arkansas; three sons and daughters-in-laws, Richard Allen and Jeanie Robertson of Plan City, Florida, William Joseph and Valerie Robertson of Ocala, Florida, James Edward and Holly Robertson of Santee, California; one daughter, Sheryl Robertson of Bartow, Florida; two nieces, Lynn Beloat and Lori Robertson of Texas; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity. Online registration is at: texarkanafuneralhome.com.
