SANFORD - Mrs. Olivine Cote, 85, of 24 North Avenue, died Wednesday morning following a long illness. She was born at St. Helene, P.Q., June 10, 1887, daughter of the late Napoleon and Philomene (Larochelle) Mathieu, and was a communicant of Holy Family Church.
Survivors include four sons, Eddie of Auburn, Gerard of Caribou, Hector of Bristol, Conn., and Rudolph of Sanford; four daughters, Mrs. Cecile Dominy, Mrs. Jeannette Dumont and Mrs. Rita Smith of Sanford and Mrs. Margaret Boulet of Springvale; a sister, Mrs. Rose Ricard of Three Rivers, P.Q.; 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Prayers were held Saturday at 8 a.m. at the Sanford Funeral Home, 145 Main Street, followed by a mass of the Resurrection at 9 a.m. at Holy Family Church. Interment will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
