KIBBY, Patricia Deanne, passed away February 24, 2006, at the age of 64 years. A member of the pioneer Specht family who came to the Antelope Valley in the 1880s. Beloved wife of Roger Kibby, loving mother of Stephanie Specht, grandmother of Corey Spehct, C.J. and Emily DeAngelis as well as little Sophie Specht, mother Wini Hite, sister Jeri Gillmer as well as numerous nieces and nephews. At Mira Costa High School, she played in the school band. Mrs. Kibby worked in aerospace for many years on such projects as the B-1A and B-1B bombers as well as the Space Shuttle program including the Columbia and the Endeavor. She was also a talented artist when it came to sculpting and painting. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 2, 2006, at Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday at Mumaw Funeral Home
