Inscription
In loving remembrance of our
beloved son Percy
born, Carroll County, GA 8/9/1858
and died in San Marcos, TX 12/16/1884
He was greatly beloved by all.
who knew his
noble virtues and charitable deeds.
He has gone across the river
to meet his many freinds [sic]
and brothers and sisters.
Sleep on dear boy until
the great resurection day.
Place this on his grave as
the last task we can do to
remember him.

Gravesite Details
The first two photos of Percy's headstone were taken in 2006; the third photo was taken in 2009 - you can see that it has fallen off the base and is now broken in two. I am so thankful that Lisa Franklin took the photos when it was still standing!
