Mrs. R. Q. McFarlen, 39, died at the family residence, 3226 North Twentieth Street, at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at North Waco Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Thursday, Rev. Thomas Blair and Rev. W. D. Boswell officiating. Burial in Ridge Park Cemetery, Hillsboro, with Marshall and Marshall in charge.
Surviving are the widower; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Wiseman; four sons, Carl L. McFarlen, R.Q. Mcfarlen Jr., G. W. McFarlen and James McFarlen, all of Waco; one brother, M B. Jerden of Waco, and two sisters, Mrs. H. H. Yates of Corpus Christi and Mrs. A D. Whalen of Crosbyton; her mother, Mrs. Cora Jerden of Hillsboro.
