Mrs. Peter F. Jansma of Hull passed away at the age of 37 years, 4 months, 27 days at the Rock Rapids Hospital after giving birth to a 10 lb, 4 oz baby boy. Mrs. Jansma, nee Anna Vander Kooi was born at Matlock.
Mrs. Jansma, nee Anna Vander Kooi was born at Matlock, Iowa, on October 26, 1911 moving to Worthington, MN in 1913, acquiring most of her schooling there. In 1925 she came to Edgerton, MN with her parents and finished her school there. She was married to Peter F. Jansma of Hull in 1937. They resided in the vicinity of Doon for 9 years. To this union four children were born.
She is survived by her husband P. F. Jansma and children; Thelmar T., age 8; Jeanene C. age 6; Wilmer B., age 4, and their infant son Andrew Peter of Hull. Also surviving are Five sisters and three brothers; Cora, Agnes, Charlie, Benjamin, Josephine, Willemina, Ruth and Peter; and 8 nieces and nephews also mourn her departure.
Funeral services were held at the home and at the First Reformed Church Saturday, March 26. Burial took place at Hope Cemetery.
