GRANBURY - Marion Lavina Shoemaker, 87, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today in Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury. Services will also be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Trinity Baptist Church in Amarillo. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Home, 5400 S. Bell St. Mrs. Shoemaker was born July 17, 1918, in La Casa to G.B. and Maggie Eubanks Mosley. She taught school for a total of 29 years in Manila, Phillipines, Midland, Mapleton, Ore., and in Canyon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Horton James Case and Joe Bradford Shoemaker; a daughter, Carol Case Harlow; and two brothers, Joe Mosley and Warren Mosley. Survivors include her children, Don Case and Mike Case, both of Granbury, Cindy Stewart of Katy, Melissa Graser of Canyon, Frances Strickland of Glen Rose, Dorothy Pearce of Cleburne and Ricky Shoemaker of Springtown, Ore.; 24 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne Mosley of Amarillo and Gordon Mosley of Tacoma, Wash.; two sisters, Mary B. Swearengen of Las Cruces, N.M., and Alvarine Peach of California; and several nieces and nephews.
