ESCALANTE, Jesus (Jess) V., passed away on Feb. 19, 2006. He was 70 and had been married for 47 years. He worked at the General Motors plant for 32 years. He is survived by his wife Carmen Escalante, and his daughter Ruby Corral, his son Victor Escalante, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 5 sisters. Jess will be remembered dearly, and deeply missed by his family and friends. A "Celebration of Life Service" will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2006, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lancaster. Interment to follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery, Lancaster. Arrangements entrusted to Halley-Olsen- Murphy Memorial Chapel, Lancaster.
