FUNERAL SET WEDNESDAY

CEDARTOWN-Mrs. Ben W. Shiflett, of Cedartown, Rte 2, died Saturday following an extended illness.

Mrs. Shiflett was born, Sept. 20, 1881, in Floyd County, but had spent her entire life in Polk County. She was a member of the Wesley Chapel Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Miss Myra Shiflett and Mrs. J. C. Nichols, both of Cedartown; four sons, Emory, Mallory, Henry, and Robert Shiflett, all of Cedartown; two brothers, Ed Brown of Rockmart and Jim Brown of Dallas, 25 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Anna Kresge Methodist Church with the Revs. Robert Padgett, H. I. Bowden and Vernon Winrf officiating. Interment will be in Northview cemetery.

The Olin Gammage Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
