Miss Myra Mozell Shiflett, 778 Drummond Road, Lindale, died Monday after a long illness.
Miss Shiflett was born Sept. 26, 1914, in Polk County. She was the daughter of the late Destie Brown Shiflett and Benjamin William Shiflett. She was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and the Quarter Century Club. Before retirement she was employed by WestPoint Pepperell.
Survivors include: a sister Lucille Nichols; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. today at the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with the Rev. W. P. Lovett and the Rev. Charles Thomas. Interment will be at Northview Cemetery.
