Nelson Eugene Anderson, son of Mr and Mrs C Anderson, was born November 10 1895, on the farm in Shannon vicinity, Russell County. His death occurred last Tuesday, January 7 1913, caused by blood poison. He leaves a father, mother, two sisters Susie and Tora, the former of this county and the latter of Navarre; five brothers, Arnie, John, Thomas, and Frederick, of this county, and Chris of Bliss, Oklahoma. Funeral was held at Shannon Wednesday, conducted by Rev Mrs Giddly and burial took place at the Cross Plains Cemetery. Many friends join the bereaved in sincere sympathy because of the untimely death of a promising life, just entering upon its mission of usefulness in the world.
