Volunteer Firefighter with Spring Valley Columbian Engine Company for 47 years - Life Member of the Hudson Valley, New York and New Jersey Volunteer Fire Association.
Navy Veteran of World War II - Member of teh Naurashaun Post of the American Legion and the Atelstane Lodge of the Free and Accepted Order of Masons.
Survivors: Wife - Jeanette Morgan Pitt Conklin; Two Sons - Bruce of Dunedin, Florida, and John of Tarpon Springs, Florida; Two Daughters - Linda Lovell of Middletown and Paul Dorangrichia of New City; Brother - Raymond Conklin of Bonita Springs, Florida; Three Grandchildren.
Funeral was held on Saturday, 25 Novmber 1989 at the Sniffen Funeral Home
