SERVICE: Serve 4 years in the Revolutionary War as a private soldier under Capts. Jesse Pigman and Joseph VanMetre in the Monongahela country, in what was called the Va. Line, under Col John Milner. Amos Milner also served 8 weeks as a soldier in the Indian War, under Capt Ellis in Gen St. Clair's army. CHILDREN: Sarah, b. 22 Mar 1784, m.
