Mrs. Conant lived to be 101 years old. At the time of her death, she was Brookline's oldest resident. When she was 19 years old, she taught school in Watertown for 6 years before she married. She is a member of the DAR, Daughters of the American Revolution. Three of her brothers were killed in the Civil War. Their memorial can be seen at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord, MA.
