Lennie "Lynn" Lee Tilley Chapman, 91, of Millington, passed away July 22, 2014 in Franklin, TN. Mrs. Chapman worked for the Civil Service at NAS Memphis for 25 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church Millington since 1969 where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She was well known for her warm smile, kindness, love of others, acts of service to the community, cards, letters and phone calls. The widow of Harry L. Chapman, she is survived by her daughter, Mary Jane Rushlow of Franklin, TN; sons, John Chapman of Tampa, FL and Dan Chapman of Melbourne, FL; son-in-law, Tim Rushlow; daughter-in-law, Cathy Chapman; sister, Bernice Hardin of Kannapolis, NC; grandchildren, Bailey, Emma and River Rushlow, Amanda (David) England, Christina (Nathan) Cox, Emily and Ethan Chapman; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Judah and Christian England. The family will receive friends at a catered reception at the Millington Chapel on Friday, July 25 from 5-8 p.m. with a service 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church Millington.
