Elizabeth "Betsy" Coleman Cutbirth, born February 20, 1763 in Cumberland, Virginia, was the daughter of Mary "Polly" Williams and Stephen Coleman of Virginia.

Elizabeth wed Daniel Boone Cutbirth, Sr., b: 1762, nephew of Daniel Boone, the American frontiersman about 1784.

Children of their union included:
1. Benjamine Cutbirth, Jr.,
2. Elizabeth "Betty" Cutbirth (Rose),
3. Daniel Boone Cutbirth, Jr.,
4. Rachel Cutbirth (Abernathy), b:
