He was raised in Huntington Park and graduated as a Spartan from H.P. High School where he accelerated in sports. A town celebrity, Kiki worked at Jox & Sox. He later became an employee for the City of Vernon and welcomed the birth of one daughter and one son. Kiki moved to Palmdale and lived with Marion Nixon who "adopted" him and brought him into her extended family, The Moose Lodge #507. There, he gave of himself as he always had in life, with his heart and his hands. Robust with glorious jet-black hair, he was unmistakably handsome and was probably the World's Biggest Social Butterfly. Kiki is survived by his daughter Stephanie, his son Elias, his sisters Anna and Delores, his brother Ernie, his father Elias, his grandmother Elsie, hundreds of friends and cousins, and his nieces and nephews who will forever be thankful that he touched their lives. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 11, 2006, at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale.
