Rumzy M. Byrd, 75, of Sweetland, widow of Isaac Byrd, died June 20, 2002 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. She worked at Dee-Mure Sewing Factory and the Snak Shak Restaurant. Surviving at the time of her death were two sons, Eugene Byrd of West Hamlin and Paul Byrd of Sweetland; three daughters, Trudy Jeffers and Connie Adkins, both of Sweetland, and Mary Ann Bell of Sias; three brothers, Basil Adkins, Benny Adkins and Wendell Adkins, all of East Liverpool, OH; and four sisters, Sarah L. Cooper of Griffithsville, Thelma J. Adkins of East Liverpool, Sue Albert of Alliance, OH and Dianne Cummings of St. Albans.
