FATALLY INJURED.

Another Sad Accident at Waverly - A
Brakeman Hurt.

WAVERLY, Nov. 10,- Another terrible
accident occurred here this evening, one
that will doubtless in a few hours at
most add another to the long list of those
who have found death under the car
wheel.

Erie freight train, second ninety-two, Elias Batty conductor, was standing in the yard here; when Brakeman
Frank Frazier stepped from the caboose
to turn a switch. At that moment a
switch engine was backing down and he
was thrown down and both legs were
ground under the wheels. He was also
bruised on the head and other parts of
the body. He was taken to the Christie
hotel and Dr. R. S. Harnden attended
him. He can live but few hours.

His home is at Addison and he had been
married but a few months. His father
has been telegraphed for and will be
here on number twelve.

Later - Frazier died from his injuries
at 9:10 p. m.

Elmira Advertisor.
