Jesse married to Marion Margaret Allworth on 1 May 1918 at Manhattan, New York. They made their home first at Morgan Park, a suburb of Chicago. They relocated to Allentown, Pennsylvania about 1930, where Jesse was an office supplies commercial traveler, and returned to Chicago about 1935. Jesse and Marion were the parents of two daughters.
