Mark McMurray Moorefield, 59, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 3, 2014, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Mark was born October 28, 1954, in Bountiful, Utah, to Robert Sutton Moorefield and Wanda McMurray Moorefield. He grew up and attended schools in Chandler, Arizona, and graduated from military school in California. He moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho, where he attended Eastern Idaho Technical College. He received his Associate's Degree in Welding.

On November 6, 1976, he married Sindy Mae Matheson. To this union were born four children, Mark Jr., Melissa, Jason, and Brandon, who were raised in Maricopa, Arizona. Mark was in charge of Maricopa Farms where he grew cotton and wheat. They moved to Idaho Falls where Mark and Sindy were later divorced. He later married Dominica Maddox and grew to love her children and grandchildren as his own. They were later divorced.

Mark was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved his Harley and enjoyed working on it. He adored his family and was a loyal friend to many.

son, Jason Moorefield of Idaho Falls, ID;
son, Brandon Moorefield of Idaho Falls, ID;
Dominica's children, Daniel, Brandi, Bethani, and Jinni
Dominica's grandchildren, Aiden and Tatum
sister, Vickie (Michael) Ostler of Orem, UT;
sister, Robyn (Terry) Eshenroder of Gilbert, AZ;
brother, Brad Skousen of Mesa, AZ;
brother, John Moorefield of Orem, UT;
grandson, A. J. Nieves of Idaho Falls, ID;
granddaughter, Jocelyn Moorefield of Idaho Falls, ID;
grandson, Tyler Rumble of Idaho Falls, ID;
granddaughter, Alyssa Rumble of Idaho Falls, ID.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Sutton Moorefield; mother, Wanda Moorefield Skousen; stepfather, Clarence Skousen; and a son, Mark Moorefield Jr.

The family will visit with friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge). Graveside services will be held at a later date at the Provo City Cemetery in Provo, Utah.
