She was born on April 21, 1941 in Potsdam, a daughter of Samuel and Mary E. (Barr) Hecht. She graduated from Canton High School in 1960 and later from Albany Business School.
A marriage to Robert Corbine ended in divorce.
She married Edward A. Clarke on June 1, 1985. He died on Dec. 2001.
MaryAnn worked briefly as a secretary for St. Lawrence County Home Extension Services. She was very active in Grace Episcopal Church and St. Lawrence County Hospice, was on the Evergreen Cemetery Board and the Neighborhood Center Board. She also sold AVON for 8 years.
Surviving are her children, Kathy Corbine; W. Andrew Corbine; Jeffrey S. Corbine; and three grandchildren.
