Hinkley was picked up a the shelter the day before he would have been euthanized. He bit daddy's pant leg and wanted to play, which made us laugh… Dad came up with the name Hinkley in honor of President Gordon B. Hinckley whose sense of humor always endeared us… we just spelled it differently.

Hinkley loved to "play vicious" as soon as the camoflauge coat would come out… but the minute he was asked to knock it off, he became immediately docile.

His best friend and Buddy, Sam, loved to share food and would eat off the same plate without any food aggression. They were best buds!

Hinkley was diagnosed with large tumors in his colon and was given a very
short life expectancy. Connor's only wish was that he not pass away before he left for his mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He hung on and then quit eating the day Connor left… he was put to sleep with his family by his side.

Hinkley leaves his family and Sam to mourn him.
