She was first married to the late Earl Hargrove Duncan and then to the late Fred W. Cobb. Born September 14, 1912 in Eutawville, she was a daughter of the late John Douglas Long Jr. and Julia Thomas Long. She was a homebound member of First Baptist Church of Columbia. She had played an active part in her late husband Fred W. Cobb's business "Fred W. Cobb Sheet Metal and Roofing Company".

She was preceded in death by her brother, Earl H. Long, John D. Long III, William C. Long, and grandson Jackie deWolfee Jr.
