John is most likely buried on or near his hundred acres farm located in the north part of the Southwest quarter of section number one of Township number five of range No., three East of the Meridian line drawn from the mouth of the great Miami River and lets it be more or less as much as lays in said quarter excepting Jacob Boblet's survey. It is very possible John was buried at Eby Cemetery where his daughter Catherine King's tombstone was recently found. John Hershberger died between 1 February 1832 and 16 March 1833.
