Funeral services for Minnie Myrtle Parrish, 86, of La Belle were held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, August 20, 1988, in Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel, Edina. Burial was in the Knox City Cemetery. Mrs. Parrish died at 11:14 Wednesday night, August 17, 1988, in Grim-Smith Hospital.

Born September 14, 1901, in Knox City, she was the daughter of Smith H and Liddy M. Boltz Shouse. On October 07, 1923, in Edina she was married to Glenn G Parrish, who preceded her in death on Jun 04, 1982. Also preceding her in death were one daughter, Shirley Margaret Wilson on December 20, 1985; three brothers, Leroy Shouse, Albert Shouse, and Harry Earl Shouse; three sisters, Esther Amy Shouse, Lula Katherine Shouse and Ada Mae Mitchell.

Surviving are one sister, Lydia M Rouse of Springfield; one grandson and two great-grandchildren

Mrs. Parrish was a life-long resident of Knox and Lewis Counties. For the past 30 years she had made her home in La Belle. She was a member of the Knox City Christian Church.
