Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of Albert Bennewitz and Minnie Anstedt Bennewitz. Mr. Bennewitz was an Administrative Clerk at the V.A. Regional Office. He was a member of Eau Claire Baptist Church and the Charity Sunday School Class. Mr. Bennewitz served in the Air Force during World War II.
He filled the lives of his friends with humor and had a special admiration for children.
