Margaret died in 1899. The following year Cyrenius remarried to Florence V. (Stetson) Thompson, who had been widowed three years prior. They lived in Jay. She died in 1910 and is buried with her first husband.
In 1920 Cyrenius lived with his son Irison, who was his only surviving child.
