Mrs. Helen Orr Van Vranken, 72, a former resident of Schenectady and Ballston Lake, died suddenly yesterday In Sarasota, Fla., after suffering a heart attack.
A native of Augusta, Maine, Mrs. Van Vranken had lived in Ballston Lake 13 years and Schenectady 20 years before moving to Sarasota 15 years ago.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Baxter's funeral parlors, 40 North Brandywine avenue, with Rev. Dow Clute officiating. Burial will be in Vale cemetery.
The funeral parlors will be open after 8 p.m. tomorrow.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Kesiah Thomas and Mrs. Charles Meyers, both of Schenectady; Mrs. Fred Coleman, Ballston Spa and Mrs. Thomas Vinehart, Stillwater; two sons, James Van Patten, Ballston Spa, and Robert Van Patten, Rexford; a sister, Mrs Elizabeth Van Patten, Schenectady.
