WATKINS, Dennise Loral has, completed her journey here on earth and now rests with Christ. Though she has walked through the valley of the shadow of death God is with her. As Christ has promised, He has prepared a place for her. For in his house are many mansions. The Lord says, "Don't let your hearts be troubled believe also in me." Dennise did believe in our Lord and was saved and baptized early in life. She was born into a family of 10 and now joins those who have passed before her. She rejoices in heaven with her Husband Shelton and Daughter Carolyn. Dennise was a hard worker and laborer of love; she not only worked the fields with her family as a young woman, she was an active youth leader in her church. Once married, she worked at the AV Turkey Growers Assoc. Later Dennise and Shelton opened their heart and home to several foster children. Her loving touch surrounded children in Sunday school at her church and for 15 years she worked at the Lancaster School District as a noon duty aide. She now waits for her brother Leroy Goodman, his wife Georgetta of Arkansas, and two sisters Pearly Browning Calif., Virgie Culverson and her husband Rev. Robert Culverson of Calif. She was blessed and waits for her son, Ronald Watkins, his wife Robin and Daughter Patricia Sykes, her husband Irvin, and a foster child Johnny Davis. She also waits for her Grandson's Scott Watkins and Irvin Sykes III (Jr.). Granddaughters Lisa Watkins and Carolyn Sykes, eight (8) Great-Grandchildren; Wesley, Caleb, Robyn, Chelsea, Collin, Casey, LoraLee, and Caylee, and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. All who knew and loved her will truly miss her.
