She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver "Bob" Hatchett on Aug. 11, 2010. She was also preceded in death by all of her siblings which include sisters, Virginia Coulter on July 19, 2012, Mary Jo Coulter on July 21, 2007, Ruth Cornell Hale on Aug. 28, 1981, and a brother, Charles Hughes on Jan. 6, 2006.
She is survived by two sons, Doug Hatchett (Drecilla) of Glasgow and Joe Hatchett (Kathy) of Campbellsville; four grandchildren, Kimberly Owens (Russ) of Lexington, Kristen Roderick (Chris) of Glasgow, Jennifer Hatchett of Louisville and Allison (Chris) Priddy of Louisville; and six great-grandchildren, J.D. and Olivia Owens, Kaleb Mitchell, Kaitlyn, Joseph and Jillian Priddy. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 18 at 1 p.m. at Carey & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Bowen, minister of the Willisburg Christian Church, officiating. He was assisted by Bro. Ernie Perry and Bro. Charles Perry, nephews of Mrs. Hatchett. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg. Serving as pallbearers were Russ Owens, Philip Coulter, Blair Hale, Mark Hale, Marty Hatchett and Justin Hatchett. Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
