Mary Thronson Christopherson, born December 1867, in Liberty Wisconson, to Knud Trondson and Anna Olesdatter. She married Andrew Christopherson, on December 31, 1890 in Glenwood, Pope County, Minnesota. They farmed in Thief River, Minnesota and raised seven children. 1904 moved with the family to a homestead in what is now Spalding, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Mary Christopherson was the midwife for the pioneer families in the Spalding area. Mary was known for her hospitality, she provided food and shelter to both strangers and neighbors in need. Years passed too quickly, Mary passed away at the age of 72, on January 18, 1940.
