Father of Gunnel, Andrew, Sophia, Edward, Anne Nettie, Matilda, Hagbart, Oscar, Hyrum & Levi. Settled in what was then known as Big Cottonwood, near 6200 So. and Holladay Blvd.

The inscription on the upright marker can no longer be read. In July of 2005 family members added a new marker to the site.
