The date and place of Jesse's death is not known. Per his WWI Draft Registration Card, he was born 9 Dec 1893. It is believed that Jesse died before 1924, but I have found no proof. Some family trees on Ancestry show he died in Upson Co., GA in 1924, but the birth date they show is May 1891 and I have found no GA Death Certificate that matches that information. I do not believe it to be the same Jesse Samuel Smith.
