Roberta was the daughter of Stanley and Bessie (Farris) Blackburn. She grew up in Laramie, WY. She married Herbert G Hosford on 22 December 1940. They divorced in 1957. She then married Leland Savage on July 1, 1962 in Crystal. Roberta worked as a nurses aide at the Gratiot Community Hospital for many years.
Roberta is survived by her children, Rebecca Pumford of Mt. Pleasant, Susan (Pete) Moutsatson of Mt. Pleasant, and Herb (Sherry) Hosford of St. Louis, MO; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grand children; sister, Wilma Hatz of Denver, CO; and many nieces and nephews.
Roberta was preceded in death by her husband, Leland in 1998; first child, Ellen Joy; parents; and siblings, Stanley Blackburn, Jr., Jennie Mason, her twin, Robert Blackburn, Hazel Morgan, and Betty Ann Wilkes.
