Ray Frank Cornelison passed away May 13, 2014 in Bridgeport, TX. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 17, at Fairlanes Baptist Church in Borger. Rev. Bill Browning, Pastor of Broadway Baptist Church of Fritch will officiate, with Rev. Paul Burwash, Pastor of Fairlanes Baptist Church assisting. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Ray Frank was born to T.C. Cornelison and wife Ova Jane Ray Cornelison on April 22, 1924 in Lebanon, Oklahoma. He was the oldest of four children and attended high school in Madill, Ok. There he met Lena Sue O'Steen and they were married in 1944. They moved to Borger in 1946 where he went to work at Philblack, for 39 years. Lena Sue preceded him in death after a courageous battle with cancer in 1979.

Later he married Betty Packenbush and moved to Sanford. They remained there until her death in 2006, when he moved to Bridgeport to live with his son Randy and wife, LeeAnn.

Ray Frank was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lena Sue, grandson Joseph Charles Hunt, wife Betty and step-grandson John Collins.

He is survived by his son, Randy Cornelison and wife, LeeAnn of Bridgeport, TX; daughter, Rayma Lynne Hunt and husband, John of Tooele, UT; brother, RD Cornelison and wife, Ella of Borger; sisters, Estelle Mozingo and Wilma Vinson of Lebanon, OK; step-son, John Packenbush and wife, Marian of Swan Valley, ID ; step-daughter, Debra Webster and husband, Bill of Amarillo; seven grandchildren, Amy Ward and husband, Brian, Kelly Waterhouse and husband, Gus, Christi Garcia and husband, Donny, John Pittcock and wife, Andrea, Jeffrey Hunt and wife, Vicki, Johnny C. Hunt and wife, Cindy, Joshua Hunt and wife, Hannah; 14 great-grandchildren; nephews, Rick Cornelison and Larry Mozingo; nieces Jan Cornelison Carder, Lisa Cornelison Kennedy, and Andrea Mozingo; many more family and friends.
